Completion of landmark project in popular Shropshire town
The completion of a landmark project in Shifnal marks another significant milestone for Severn Homes.
Located on the site of a disused pub, Beehive Court has transformed the appearance of the area and is helping to meet high demand for shared ownership in the area.
Kerry Bolister, our director of development, says: “We are delighted to see the completion of a fantastic project that has already had a significant, positive impact on the town.
“The old Beehive pub and its car park had stood empty for several years, becoming something of an eyesore and attracting anti-social behaviour. Now the area has received a new lease of life, providing much-needed homes for shared ownership.”
Built with the backing of local councillors, the new homes have been designed to meet the latest environmental standards. During their construction, builders T C Homes worked closely with the community to minimise any disruption while providing opportunities for local sub-contractors and suppliers.
Since the project was first given the green light by the local planning authority, interest in the development has been high, and all the shared ownership properties are now sold subject to contract.
